Look at the date 15th September 2019 – I moved to Canvey Island on the 15th September 2016 with Terry and left 3 years to the day later without Terry. Still can’t get my head around him not being here with me.
I was homeless for a week, the flat I brought was not ready for me. Stayed at my friends Vi for a couple of nights then a week with my sister, moved in flat Friday 20.9.19.
I was in Tesco’s with my mum when I got the call to say the sale had gone through, I just broke down crying and my mum said I thought you wanted to move, I said I do but it’s just Terry not being here.
I went and got keys by myself and took Terry’s ashes with me up to the flat showed him round and told him, he is with me in my new home and will always be with me.
It is so hard not having him here sorting everything out for me.
